My name is MInerva Soto-Weisman. I was born and raised in Mexico. I came to the United States at the age of 17. I struggled learning English but I learned it in order to succeed in this great country of opportunities! I went to Western Illinois University and graduated with honors with a double major in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. I then continued my education at National Louis University (Illinois) and pursued a career in Special Education. Although I did not pursue my Special Education degree, this experience truly helped me understand the diverse students that come into my classroom. Not only do I understand second language acquisition, but I also understand the learning needs of all students from different paths of life. I am very happy to be a part of the Bulter staff and I am committed to excellence in my teaching career. Welcome to my class!
